This is my first try at the "Fresh" theme for the Self Portrait Challenge. I had several ideas about what FRESH can be. I thought I would wrap myself up like a piece of fish and get in the freezer at the grocery store and put a label on my chest: "FRESH, never frozen. Wild caught." But that seemed like a lot of work. And I would look like a mummy when all was said and done. Then I thought of things like a new jar of peanut butter. Before you put the knife in. Or FRESH clean white sheets on your bed. But finally, I landed on the idea of a new box of 64 Crayolas. I love all the colors, and the FRESH waxy smell and the new pointed tips on all 64, and no broken ones.
There is a promise of a FRESH start in every box.
